The start of the new year is the perfect time to start putting plans into action but how do Goals change from ideas into Reality ?
Making plans or setting goals is great as a starting point but thinking about HOW you will succeed in the goal, WHAT steps you need to take and HOW you will know when these have been achieved ,is a process that really helps.
I work with many people who have got to the stage of writing goals many times especially at New Year but come the end of January those have wondered off somewhere never to be found again until next Christmas.
Why? Why does this happen ? I have asked myself that many times in my life because I am also one of those people who has set goals and never seen them through for one reason or another.
Lets use dieting for a great example at this time of year. “Thats it, after New Year thats me on the salad and I mean it this time ” Sound familiar ?
